Our mission is to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services by utilizing engineering knowledge and techniques in the development, maintenance, and operation of medical diagnostic and treatment devices. We aim to advance Turkey's research potential in the field of biomedical engineering and reduce dependency on foreign medical devices. This will be achieved through scientific research and development activities, fostering collaboration between relevant departments in the Medical Faculty and Engineering Faculty of the University. We also strive to provide biomedical engineering students with internship and/or practical course opportunities in coordination with the Biomedical Engineering Department, helping them access more practical and up-to-date information, thereby contributing to biomedical engineering education.

In this context, we aim to:

• Develop projects related to medical technologies in undergraduate thesis projects, graduate education projects, and research projects.
• Conduct research and development (R&D) activities and design medical devices.
• Modify existing devices and/or systems.
• Calibrate medical devices.
• Provide consultancy services on the testing, acceptance, and specifications of devices procured for our hospital.
• Organize in-service training programs, national and international seminars, symposiums, congresses, and conferences.
• Engage in publishing activities such as journals and books.
• Offer consultancy services for the maintenance and repair of medical devices/systems and for outsourcing services in these areas.
